I was born in Sicily, where food and family always went together. In 1967, I moved to America with those traditions in my heart. I brought with me the same love for cooking that filled our home back in Italy. Over time, I knew I wanted to open a place where people could enjoy real Italian food and feel like part of something special—something honest, simple, and full of care.

Some of my best memories are around the dinner table with my parents, friends, and neighbors. Our home was always full—full of good food and good people. That’s what shaped how I built this restaurant. I wanted it to feel like those moments growing up. A place where guests feel at ease, enjoy a great meal, and maybe even stay a little longer than planned, just like we did back then.

Before I was a chef, I loved to paint and play music. To me, food is another form of art. It takes time, feeling, and care. Every dish is a way to express something real. I use color, balance, and flavor the same way a painter uses a brush. I put thought into every plate, hoping that it connects with people in a simple and honest way—just like good art should.
